The Process

The Hille Foundation accepts grant requests by invitation only. If invited to apply, organizations will be contacted by the Hille Foundation with instructions.

Request an Invitation

If you would like to be considered for an invitation, please submit the following information to Renee Smith at rsmith@hillefoundation.org:

Provide a brief summary of your organization, its mission and programming (limit to one page)
State/describe your most critical need

Online Portal

Once organizations have been invited to apply, the Hille Foundation requires all applicants to use our online Grants Application Portal. The Application Portal allows organizations to complete grant requests, view the status of current requests, view submitted grant agreements and submit reports. All submissions of applications and reports will only be processed via this Portal. This excludes discretionary grants, memberships, conferences, and events, which will be managed internally via our grants management system.
